Mountain Creek

Mountain Creek Ski Resort in Vernon, NJ is the largest ski resort IN the state of New Jersey, boasting 4 peaks containing over 167 acres of skiable terrain, and a vertical of 1,040 feet. Powerful snowmaking systems over 100% of the mountain, which is essential in NJ. 3 High Speed, 3 Fixed, and 2 Carpet Lifts service a total of 41 trails. A brand new lodge and snowtubing are in place for the 2011/2012 season.

Best Season to Visit:
Winter – Skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing
Summer – Mountain Creek Waterpark
Spring, Summer, Fall – Downhill Mountain Biking (Diablo  Freeride Park)

Tips: If the Cabriolet gets very crowded, try taking the triple lift.

If Vernon, South and Bear get crowded, Granite Peak usually has lighter crowds.

Plan on going 3 times this season? Look into purchasing a Triple Play Card and pay less than the cost of 2 lift tickets.
